They are looking for a multi-talented, experienced strong passionate Early Years teacher to support the children's learning and development in line with the EYFS and their ambitious curriculum.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience working and caring for children under 5, ideally within an early years setting.
  • Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities.
  • Must have experience working in Early Years Teaching.
  • Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted.
  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.
  • Extensive knowledge of Safeguarding.
  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.
  • Able to demonstrate multi-agency working and leading staff meetings.
  • Managing and maintaining administration requirements.
  • Beneficial to have had Phonics Training.

Brief Outline of Responsibilities

  • Work with the Management and nursery staff team providing the highest quality of education and care to all children.
  • To ensure children’s safety, wellbeing and health is paramount to the care Bright Comets provide for all children.
  • To work within an anti-discriminatory and inclusive environment and support the team to facilitate the all-round development of all children, enabling them to reach their full potential.
  • To be committed to the learning outcomes for the children, ensuring all formative and summative assessment processes are fulfilled to the highest standard.
  • Maintain respectful and genuine interaction with children using warm and responsive communication strategies, which are appropriate to children’s needs.

This role is full time permanent offering stability and further career progression.
