SITE MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION | BIRMINGHAM Hours: 7:30am – 6:00pm Location: Birmingham Sector: Commercial | Industrial | Retail Construction Start: ASAP About the Company: We’re working exclusively with a dynamic, fast-growing construction and property solutions company with a reputation for delivering excellence across the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. Based in Birmingham, our client – offers a comprehensive in-house service that covers everything from new builds to major refurbishments, groundworks to roofing, and M&E to full facilities management. They pride themselves on creating lasting relationships through quality and reliability. With their portfolio expanding, they are now seeking a hands-on Site Manager to join the team and lead multiple projects across the West Midlands. About the Role As Site Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations across 2–3 live projects at any one time. These sites can range in scope and scale, typically running for 12–18 months and covering everything from fit-out works and remedials to major upgrades and new build developments. You will be the key figure coordinating multiple gangs across different trades, ensuring smooth communication, safe working practices, and quality delivery on all fronts. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee the on-site delivery of commercial, industrial, and retail projects • Manage and motivate teams of 15–20 operatives and subcontractors • Plan and coordinate multiple workstreams including groundworks, roofing, concrete, M&E, and FM • Ensure health & safety, compliance, and quality control standards are upheld • Maintain communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders • Attend and lead site meetings, inspections, and progress reviews • Provide hands-on support when needed – this is not a clipboard-only role • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to specification Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Site Manager in a construction setting, strong background in groundworks – essential Multi-trade knowledge and ability to manage diverse teams Willing to “muck in” when needed – a doer, not just a delegator Full UK driving licence – travel between sites is required CSCS card, SMSTS or SSSTS Strong communicator, organiser, and team leader Why Join?: • Be part of a growing and respected firm delivering high-impact projects • Work in a collaborative team that values trust, transparency, and results • Opportunity to grow with the business as it scales further across the UK If you are interested in a confidential conversation regarding the above position, please apply for the role and a member of the team shall be in contact.
