Position: HVAC Installation Engineer (Trainee to Experienced) Location: Stoke-on-Trent / Staffordshire (UK-wide projects, Monday–Friday travel) Employment Type: Permanent (PAYE) or Self-Employed CIS RCM Ltd are working in partnership with a privately owned HVAC and Mechanical Contractor which delivers commercial HVAC installations across the leisure, retail, and wider commercial sectors. Our clients projects include ventilation, air-conditioning, plumbing, and pipework systems for blue-chip clients nationwide. As an HVAC Installation Engineer, you will: * Install and commission a variety of HVAC systems on commercial sites throughout the UK. * Travel and work away Monday–Friday (all accommodation and travel costs covered). * Work as part of a skilled team, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with health & safety standards. * Support junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement on site. Key Responsibilities As an HVAC Installation Engineer: * Mechanical installation of ventilation ductwork, air-conditioning units, pipework and associated plant. * Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover documentation. * Adhere to site health & safety procedures and company quality standards. * Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and colleagues. Essential: * Willingness to travel/overnight. * Practical skills in mechanical or electrical installation (all ability levels considered, from trainee to experienced engineer). * Full UK driving licence. * Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, or electrical installations. * CSCS card, IPAF or PASMA certifications (training provided if not held). * Knowledge of commercial mechanical systems.
