We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a top Regional Main Contractor covering projects in South Birmingham up to £6m across new build and refurb. This is a key role responsible for managing construction contracts across multiple projects, ensuring commercial control, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer construction contracts from pre-contract stage through to final account
  • Oversee cost control, valuations, variations, and change management
  • Identify and manage contractual and commercial risks
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and company requirements
  • Support dispute resolution and claims where necessary
  • Provide accurate reporting on contract performance and financial status

About You

  • Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role with a Main Contractor
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Relevant construction or commercial qualification preferred
