The Opportunity We're working with a well-established property consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to join its expanding team in Birmingham.

The Role As a Building Surveyor, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality surveying services to a varied client base.

Your responsibilities will include: Conducting building surveys and preparing detailed reports.

Carrying out defect diagnosis and providing practical recommendations.

Managing refurbishment, maintenance and improvement projects.

Preparing specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.

Administering contracts and monitoring project progress.

Undertaking condition surveys and planned maintenance assessments.

Advising clients on property legislation, compliance and building regulations.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You We're looking for someone who has: A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.

Experience working within a consultancy, private practice or client-side environment.

Strong technical knowledge across professional surveying services.

Excellent report writing and communication skills.

The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

A proactive and client-focused approach.

Full UK driving licence (if required).

Ideally you'll also have: MRICS qualification (or be working towards chartership).

Experience across commercial, education, healthcare or residential sectors.
