We are seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from groundworks through to completion. You will be responsible for managing site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations on new build projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site labour
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures
- Monitor project progress against programme and report to senior management
- Maintain quality control and ensure works meet specifications
- Conduct site meetings and keep accurate records
- Manage materials, deliveries, and site logistics
- Ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on new build projects from start to finish
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and health & safety
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience in commercial builds to £20M
- Carpentry background
