RCK Partners is a top tier consultancy specialising in tax relief products, and has taken the market by storm since our launch in January 2020. We have grown from a company of 3 to 90 in just five years and are currently in the midst of our global expansion plans. This role is being recruited for during a very exciting time in our growth trajectory. The predominant product for RCK Partners remains to be R&D tax relief; and the team works with businesses from almost every sector of the economy to identify their qualifying R&D activities, quantify the expenditure incurred and obtain the R&D Tax Incentives for them. The R&D team is looking to expand with the appointment of a Software R&D Tax Consultant, to specialise in our software client claims.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver a portfolio of software clients
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortably able to deal with deadline pressures
- Capability for high pressure work whilst maintaining attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Deliver technical reports and financial analysis with an exceptional degree of accuracy
- Provide exceptional client management skills
- Work closely with the internal Commercial team
- Work autonomously and independently
- Share knowledge of previous technical areas and develop further technical curiosity
Requirements
- Current R&D tax relief experience
- Strong background in software/tech based environment, developing new technical initiatives and with a desire to build upon this knowledge in a new setting
- Masters or PhD/EngD in a Computer Science or relevant based subject would be desirable, but not essential
- Excellent MS Office skills (Word & Excel)
- Ability to work autonomously with high productivity and accuracy
- Excellent teamwork skills with a desire to coach and support junior colleagues
