About the Role
We’re looking for a driven and ambitious
Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing commercial team.
The BDR will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and targeted campaigns booking qualified meetings for the Business Development team.
This role requires a confident communicator who is comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls, while also using email, Linked In, and other channels to engage prospects and convert interest into meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute targeted outbound campaigns to generate new business leads and book qualified appointments for the BD team.
- Make an agreed minimum of dials per day, supported by structured email and social outreach.
- Research and identify potential prospects across key target sectors.
- Maintain accurate records of activity, leads, and pipeline within CRM systems.
- Collaborate with the marketing and BD teams to refine messaging, targeting, and lead quality.
- Nurture leads through consistent follow-up and engagement, ensuring a positive first impression of RCK.
- Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly activity and meeting targets.
- Stay up to date on RCK’s service offering and market trends to confidently discuss our value proposition.
About You
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a telephone-based sales, telesales, or lead generation role preferred.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and communicating across multiple channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- Target-driven, resilient, and motivated by results.
- Organised and disciplined with strong time management skills.
- Team player with a proactive approach and a desire to learn and progress.
