We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager from within the commercial property space to join our growing team and lead our engagement strategy with commercial freeholders/leaseholders across the UK. These would typically be property investors including high net worth individuals and investment companies/owner occupiers, landlords and tenants etc.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience of building and developing new business relationships within the commercial property sector, with an established network they can leverage to drive strategic partnerships. This is a pivotal role in expanding RCK’s reach by building trusted relationships with relevant prospect clients, positioning us as their preferred vendor for Capital Allowance & Business Rates services.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement and embed a solid GTM strategy for new business development into RCK’s commercial-property based service lines.
- Identify, engage, and onboard new commercial freeholders/leaseholders who may benefit from our services including Capital Allowances & Business Rates.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across a dynamic portfolio of commercial property clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and tailor collaboration strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with internal teams (Commercial, Marketing, and Delivery) to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
- Represent RCK at industry events, networking opportunities, and professional association meetings.
- Track, report, and forecast performance and pipeline activity.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of commercial property-based business development, with a strong, demonstrable network of credible relationships.
- Experience of Capital Allowances and/or Business Rates is desirable but not essential, as full product training will be provided.
- Strong existing network with commercial freeholders and leaseholders, with a proven ability to leverage relationships to drive results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with a track record of achieving growth targets.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
