Woodlands Care Centre are seeking a Bank Maintenance Operative to join their team based in Cambridge on a bank contract with flexible hours. Please ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.
The role and responsibilities will be:
- To work independently within one’s own capabilities to a high standard of finish.
- To maintain the structure and fabric of the Home, repairing and preserving where necessary.
- To conform to and understand the Health and Safety Regulations.
- To observe the privacy of the clients and demonstrate a caring and understanding nature.
- To collect medical and sundry items as and when required.
- To practice confidentiality regarding the Home, the clients and visitors.
- To repair and prepare equipment/site or furniture as requested.
- To maintain the building to current legislation and to the Company’s own manual.
- To prepare, retain and present relevant records in all aspects of the Homes safety policies and manuals.
- To liaise with the Companies maintenance contractors and ensure their value.
- To work safely and ensure the Home meets and complies with all regulatory requirements, including fire, etc.
- To advise the Manager or Company on matters of safety or maintenance.
- To adhere to working budgets and furnish the management with costings and information on pricing.
- To complete the necessary reports and forms as advised.
A current driving license is essential.
