Responsibilities
- Ensure that the removal of all waste is in accordance with the agreed procedures.
- Clean all floor areas, including damp dusting, through cleaning of all furniture, fixtures and fittings (moving light equipment if necessary).
- Clean all sanitary areas.
- Clean internal paintwork, doors, window frames, skirting boards etc.
- Abide by all COSHH regulations, colour coding and clean and store all domestic equipment in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Adhere to the cleaning schedule and work as part of a Team, attending staff meetings and training if required.
- Respect client’s independence, privacy and dignity.
- Maintain appropriate records accurately.
- Foster good working relationships.
- Communicate effectively with all grades of staff.
- Maintain both business and client confidentiality.
- Take care of the building and report any defects or repairs.
- Carry out deep cleaning throughout the home as required.
- Adhere to IP&C regulations.
- Before the end of shift, check that all floors have sufficient linen (towels/bedding etc).
- Work a rota covering 7 days per week.
