Woodlands Care Centre is seeking an Assistant Chef to join their friendly kitchen team based in Cambridge.
Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in the kitchen area and identify workloads and organise accordingly.
- Ensure the standards, cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen area and associated equipment.
- Adhere to the standard operating procedure of equipment, proper use, and meet Health and Safety Regulations and other regulations recommended by the Registering Authority.
- Responsible for cost control procedures and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and review menus in conjunction with the General Manager.
- Understand the importance of providing the appropriate diets and special dietary needs.
- Perform other related duties not specifically enumerated in this job description, which may be assigned by the General Manager from time to time.
