We are seeking a Projects & Initiatives Team Manager (job share) to lead a diverse portfolio of externally funded programmes. This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for designing, delivering and evaluating initiatives that support GPs at all stages of their careers. You will manage projects from development through to completion, ensuring strong governance, robust financial management, and clear evidence of impact. The role also involves securing new funding opportunities and building partnerships that align with our charitable aims.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture
- Oversee delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and effectively evaluated
- Manage project budgets (total circa £620k) and reporting requirements
- Develop high-quality funding bids and proposals
- Build relationships with stakeholders including NHS bodies, Scottish Government and partners
- Promote and communicate project impact to maximise engagement
About you
You will be a strategic, organised and values-driven professional with experience in delivering projects and working collaboratively across sectors. You will bring:
- Proven project or programme management experience
- Experience of team leadership or line management
- Strong financial management and reporting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to deadlines
Desirable
- Knowledge of primary care, NHS or health policy
- Experience in the charity or membership sector
- Project management qualification
