Everyone has a GP – and today alone, GPs and their teams across the UK will see over 1 million patients. Now the Royal College of GPs is looking for a Member Services Administrator to support our 55,000 members and their patients. The Royal College of General Practitioners is the largest membership organisation for GPs in the UK. We are committed to improving patient care, developing GP skills and promoting general practice as a discipline.

The Member Services role provides a first point of contact to RCGP members, potential members and other stakeholders, responding to enquiries and supporting requests via multiple communication channels within RCGP KPIs, providing an excellent member experience.

Members are at the heart of our organisation and this post is key to the college’s deliverables and high-quality customer service. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, coordination of departmental activities and maintaining the database. This is a varied role that will suit an enthusiastic and proactive self-starter who is keen to get involved in a variety of different tasks, who has passion for customer service and is able to work with intermittent supervision as part of a diverse, highly motivated team.

You will need demonstrable experience of working within a fast-paced membership/customer service environment or in a similar role with a proved track record of being able to handle high volumes of calls and email queries simultaneously.
