Responsibilities
This role sits within the RCGP Examinations Department, its purpose is to provide administrative support for examinations candidates who are applying for and sitting the MRCGP examinations. The MRCGP is a high‑stakes licensing assessment taken by doctors seeking entry to the GMC GP Register. Ensuring that it is fair, accessible, and legally compliant is central to maintaining professional and public confidence.
The Examinations Administrator will support the Examinations Team with the MRCGP candidate journey, from bookings for the exam through the preparation of and delivery of the AKT and SCA live examinations to release of results.
This role will join the Candidate Engagement Team, where daily activity includes supporting candidates with their queries through a number of channels including a member helpdesk portal, shared inbox and live chat.
Qualifications
The successful candidate for this role will have experience in administration and documenting processes. They should be confident in using electronic administrative applications and be an excellent communicator. They should be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and able to complete multiple competing tasks and processes efficiently and to a high level of quality in a high‑profile, high‑stakes and fast‑paced environment.
