Due to continued growth, we now have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Radiographer. We are looking for a self-starter who can hit the ground running and is keen to learn on the job. You must have a keen eye for detail and be keen to build a good understanding of the Radiographic method.
Required skills and experience:
- Good IT literacy skills (MS Office/Excel/Word)
- Manage multiple priorities with close attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions as well as being a solutions provider
- Able to work unaided and be a self-starter
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
You will work within the Radiographic Department and gain the knowledge, training, and experience in order to attain Level 2 qualification/certification in film and non-film techniques.
Key activities:
- Actively participating in a training programme/apprenticeship
- Have and pass a radiation medical assessment as part of becoming a classified worker
- Obtaining the experience hours required prior to examinations
- To attain a good understanding of Product Technology
- Gain an understanding of the department's quality system
- Gain an understanding of the department's functional checks
- Testing of customers parts under the guidance of Level 2/3 personnel
- To participate in courses and complete exams at/by an approved training facility
