You're a practical, organised individual with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll have experience working in a workshop or logistics-based setting, enjoy being part of a team, and take pride in maintaining high safety and quality standards. You'll also be confident liaising with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations.

Key Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to deadlines
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to be involved in workshop operations
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork ethic
  • Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and general data entry
  • Flexible approach to working hours

About the Opportunity

As a Cylinder Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of cylinder services across our operations, with a focus on the handling, testing, and dispatch of rental and client-owned cylinders. Working closely with the Equipment and Cylinder Coordinator, you'll help ensure our services meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Activities

  • Handle, clean, and leak-test cylinders in line with company procedures.
  • Safely load, offload, and store cylinders, ensuring accurate database tracking.
  • Prepare dispatch documentation and arrange timely client deliveries.
  • Carry out minor repairs and report additional maintenance needs.
  • Monitor certification status and coordinate re-certification when required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment.
  • Manage spare parts stock to support efficient repairs.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and support client requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement or service enhancement.
  • Adhere to all QHSE standards, including ISO and COSHH requirements, and report any incidents or near misses.
