About Intertek:

The Opportunity:
We're hiring an Analyst (Grade 2) to join our dynamic Exploration & Production (E&P) team in Aberdeen. This is a hands-on laboratory role, ideal for someone with experience in analytical testing and a passion for mentoring others. You'll conduct sample testing, perform equipment calibrations, and contribute to the day-to-day operations of our lab-all while leading by example and supporting your junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing a variety of crude, petroleum products, gas, water and deposit samples to international standards and in-house test methods.
- Receive and log in samples for testing on the required systems.
- Generate analytical reports for review and approval for release to customers.
- Perform calibrations and verification of instrumentation.
- Maintain the cleanliness and housekeeping of the laboratory.
- Support in the development of new testing requirements.
- Work within the Quality Management System.
- Work within Health, Safety & Environmental Standards.
Who We're Looking For:
- Science-based qualification (HND or above) or equivalent lab experience is desirable but not essential.
- Experience in a UKAS-accredited lab preferred.
- Strong IT literacy and confident in using data systems.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
