We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer, either Principal or Associate level, to lead our Mechanical team. If you are keen to work in a rapidly growing, exciting and innovative building services consultancy, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead our mechanical engineering team to deliver a wide range of projects.
  • Lead on large, complex projects, from due diligence and feasibility through to RIBA stage 5+.
  • Guide, train & mentor less experienced team members.
  • Work with our electrical, public health & sustainability teams.
  • Create and maintain relationships with external clients and stakeholders.

Requirements & Aspirations:

  • Circa 6-10+ years in mechanical design, ideally having led teams and complex projects.
  • Full understanding of mechanical related building services with a good understanding across electrical and public health systems.
  • Working knowledge of all key CIBSE, BSRIA and other guidance documents as well as the building regulations.
  • Experience in delivering projects within the UK.
  • Ideally experienced across commercial, education and residential sectors, as well as working for public and private sector clients.
  • Understanding and knowledge of delivering Net Zero strategies and designs.
  • Chartership status, or Incorporated Engineer status is preferred, but not essential.
  • Competence with Revit is preferable but not essential.
  • Highly IT literate and able to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint to high levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

This role is currently 4 days per week in the office, 1 WFH.
