We are seeking a dedicated and reliable cleaning Supervisor to work at Tarleton Academy, Hesketh Lane, Tarleton, Lancashire PR4 6AQ. This position is for 20 hours a week, from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM, at a rate of £13.62 per hour.
Duties:
- Ensure the cleaning is to the specification.
- Complete staff training.
- Carry out audits.
- Liaise with the Area Manager.
- Cover cleaning where necessary.
- Supervise staff on a daily basis, carrying out daily checks.
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Clean and sanitise classrooms, offices, and toilets.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow established health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to address any specific cleaning requests or concerns.
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and organisation of spaces.
- Time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
