We are currently looking to employ a Multi Site hands on Cleaning Manager within the Wirral and surrounding area. Must have your own vehicle. Mileage is paid @ 0.45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles then reduces to 25p per mile thereafter.
The Purpose
We are looking for a new Multi Site hands on Cleaning Manager to join the team working alongside our Operations Manager. You will need to be an organised and energetic individual with proven leadership skills as well as a passion for cleaning and people. 35hrs per week.
Key Accountabilities
- Take responsibility for the management and development of cleaning contracts within your designated area.
- Work with and support our clients and team members in the day-to-day service we deliver.
- Maximise contract through the delivery of a consistently high standard of customer service.
- Communicate effectively with the client, staff and head office teams.
- Ensure staff retention and motivation and develop team members.
- Select, recruit and vet employees in alignment with Company and Client policies, terms and conditions, and be accountable for their induction and ongoing training and development.
- Ensure that all additional deep clean work is planned, delivered and audited on completion.
- Ensure that all necessary resources, materials, and machines are available and on site and maintained.
- Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies, procedures and instructions and confirm their effectiveness through planned Health & Safety audits and regular reviews.
- Ensure that contracts are operating to and exceeding the required specification and performance and are regularly audited monthly.
- Inspect the facilities regularly to ensure a high standard of work is maintained.
Required Experience
- Have previous cleaning experience, with excellent knowledge of cleaning materials and techniques.
- Have a confident and flexible approach, with previous experience managing and directing cleaning and facilities staff.
- Be highly organised and able to schedule cover staff where needed.
- Previous experience interacting with and communicating with clients.
