, is seeking a talented
BMS Estimator
to support bids and tenders across landmark projects in the
science, healthcare, infrastructure, and defence sectors
. This is a unique opportunity to influence the design and delivery of next-generation smart building solutions from the ground up.

The Role

As a BMS Estimator, you\’ll provide strategic estimating insight and technical expertise to support a wide range of complex projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing accurate cost estimates for Building Management Systems — from control panels to field devices and integration
• Reviewing specifications, drawings, and documentation to define BMS scope and ensure compliance
• Evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations and contributing to commercial strategy
• Supporting bid teams with risk, value engineering, and margin input
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders across engineering, planning, procurement, and design
• Leading or supporting tender efforts across multiple high-profile projects
• Preparing clear and comprehensive handover documentation for delivery teams

What We\’re Looking For

• Proven experience estimating BMS systems within the construction or building services sector
• Strong technical knowledge of BMS infrastructure, control philosophies, and system architecture
• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eligibility for BPSS or SC clearance

Desirable Experience:

• Hands-on familiarity with BMS controls such as Schneider, Siemens, or Tridium
• Understanding of relevant industry standards (e.g. BS EN 15232, CIBSE Guide H)
• Background in design, commissioning, or engineering
• Knowledge of procurement, cost planning, and estimating tools
• Exposure to healthcare, science, or secure government projects
