We’re seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of service engineers and specialist subcontractors across London and the Home Counties. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on driving performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service standards across complex fire and security systems.

The Role

  • Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of service engineers
  • Managing subcontractors to ensure quality and performance standards are met
  • Delivering against agreed KPIs and service targets
  • Maximising engineer diary utilisation and operational efficiency
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and company standards
  • Conducting quality checks, service audits, and compliance reviews
  • Holding regular 1:1s and performance reviews with engineers
  • Driving continuous improvement across service delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a Service Manager or Engineering Manager role within fire and security
  • Strong technical background in fire alarm and life safety systems
  • Working knowledge of relevant British Standards
  • Experience delivering complex projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of systems such as Gent, Notifier, and Advanced
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
