About the Role
As a Specification Sales Consultant, you will own the demand‑creation and project‑specification process across key UK verticals. You’ll work closely with consultants, integrators, and end‑users, influencing design decisions and guiding major security projects from early engagement through to successful conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships with security consultants, specifiers, and end‑users in sectors such as Government, Police, Border/Homeland Security, and Local Authorities.
- Proactively identify and generate new project opportunities nationwide.
- Promote the company’s full security portfolio, with an emphasis on video systems, analytics, VMS, and integrated platforms.
- Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and project support.
- Influence specifications to position the brand as the preferred solution within key projects.
- Collaborate with internal technical, product, and commercial teams to ensure project success.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in specification or project‑led sales within the security industry.
- Strong technical understanding of CCTV, VMS, analytics, and ideally broader electronic security systems.
- A track record of selling into the public sector and high‑security verticals.
- A proactive, consultative approach with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
