We’re seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of service engineers and specialist subcontractors across London and the Home Counties. This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on driving performance, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional service standards across complex fire and security systems.
The Role
- Leading, coaching, and mentoring a team of service engineers
- Managing subcontractors to ensure quality and performance standards are met
- Delivering against agreed KPIs and service targets
- Maximising engineer diary utilisation and operational efficiency
- Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and company standards
- Conducting quality checks, service audits, and compliance reviews
- Holding regular 1:1s and performance reviews with engineers
- Driving continuous improvement across service delivery
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Service Manager or Engineering Manager role within fire and security
- Strong technical background in fire alarm and life safety systems
- Working knowledge of relevant British Standards
- Experience delivering complex projects
- Hands-on knowledge of systems such as Gent, Notifier, and Advanced
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
