An established, BAFE-accredited fire protection company is looking to recruit an experienced Extinguisher Service Engineer to join its growing team in the West Midlands.
With over 50 years’ experience, the business provides full turnkey fire protection, detection and suppression solutions to a wide range of industrial and commercial clients.
The Role
This is a field-based position covering the West Midlands area, responsible for both scheduled and reactive works. Duties include:
- Servicing and maintaining fire extinguishers in line with British Standards
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance visits
- Managing and maintaining vehicle stock and tools
- Liaising directly with customers to ensure a clear understanding of equipment condition and compliance
- Completing service documentation accurately and on time
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites
The Ideal Candidate
You will have:
- Proven experience servicing fire extinguishers
- BAFE accreditation (preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate)
- A full, clean UK driving licence
- Good customer communication skills
- The ability to work independently in a field-based role
