This is a role for someone who doesn’t just “do social” - they shape how brands show up in culture. An independent creative agency is looking for a Social Media Manager to take ownership of social output on a major global account. This is a hands-on role with real influence - sitting at the intersection of strategy, content, and performance.
You’ll be working closely with senior creative leadership, leading the social direction while also getting stuck into the making. From planning and concepting through to shooting, editing and publishing - this is end-to-end ownership.
The role
They’re looking for someone who can think strategically but execute instinctively.
- Lead social content planning and delivery across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Shape channel roles, content pillars and platform-first thinking (no copy-paste content here)
- Create social-first content — from shooting to editing and publishing
- Develop ideas from concept through to execution, working closely with creative teams
- Write sharp, on-brand copy and actively manage community engagement
- Own reporting and performance — turning data into clear, actionable insight
- Stay ahead of trends, spotting opportunities before they peak
- Support live moments, events, and integrated campaign work
- Act as the go-to for clients on social delivery, scheduling and performance
What they’re looking for:
- 3–5+ years managing social for brands (agency experience preferred)
- Proven ability to create short-form video content — ideation through to final output
- Strong grasp of platform culture, trends and evolving formats
- Confident copywriter with a feel for tone, timing and audience
- Comfortable with social and analytics tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, native platforms)
- Able to interpret data and translate it into creative direction
- Organised, proactive and calm under pressure
- Someone who takes ownership - ideas, output, and outcomes
- Experience across health, wellness or tech is a bonus, not a requirement.
