Senior Art Director Permanent | London (Hybrid) | £85,000–£100,000 (neg DOE) Looking for more than the next job?
A growing Creative Content Agency is looking for a Senior Art Director who's already operating at a high level and is ready to play a key role in shaping the creative output of an ambitious studio.
This isn't a role for someone looking to step up into Senior Art Director.
We're looking for someone who's already there-someone trusted to lead major integrated campaigns, partner with Creative Directors and Copywriters from the very first creative conversation, and consistently turn strong ideas into beautifully crafted work.
If you're happiest leading the visual thinking, building compelling creative worlds and raising the standard of everything around you, we'd love to hear from you.
The Opportunity Working closely with the Head of Design, you'll help shape the visual direction of the studio across integrated campaigns, global brand platforms, social-first content, film, digital and experiential projects.
This is a genuinely hands-on role.
You'll still be designing, creating key visuals, building presentations, developing visual systems and art directing photography and film shoots-but you'll also be leading significant creative workstreams, mentoring designers and helping shape the creative culture of the agency.
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the work, thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable taking ownership from the first response through to final delivery.
What You'll Be Doing Leading the visual development of integrated campaigns, brand platforms and creative content from concept through to execution.
Partnering with Creative Directors, Copywriters and Strategists to shape compelling creative ideas from the earliest stages.
Creating key visuals, campaign identities, treatments, presentations and design systems with outstanding attention to detail.
Art directing photography, film and content productions from pre-production through to delivery.
Leading significant creative workstreams, ensuring projects maintain the highest creative standards throughout.
Presenting work confidently to clients, explaining both the thinking and the craft behind every idea.
Mentoring designers and helping raise the overall creative standard across the studio.
Remaining hands-on throughout, creating beautifully crafted work rather than simply directing others.
About You You'll already be working as a Senior Art Director within an integrated creative agency, branding agency or Creative Content Agency, with a portfolio that demonstrates both conceptual thinking and exceptional visual craft.
You'll bring: A strong portfolio of integrated campaigns across branding, digital, social, film and content.
Experience developing creative platforms, visual identities and scalable campaign systems.
Confidence partnering with senior creatives to shape ideas, not just execute them.
Experience art directing photography and film shoots.
Excellent typography, layout and visual storytelling skills.
Adobe Creative Suite and Figma expertise.
Confidence presenting creative work to clients and senior stakeholders.
Experience mentoring designers and naturally raising the quality of the work around you.
A collaborative, low-ego approach and a genuine passion for making great creative even better.
Motion experience is welcome but isn't essential.
Why Join?
This newly formed independent is building a different kind of Creative Content Agency .
One where strategy, creativity, design and production work together from day one.
Where talented people are trusted with real responsibility, encouraged to push the work further and given the opportunity to influence how the studio continues to grow.
You'll work across healthcare, technology, sport, lifestyle and consumer brands, creating everything from global campaigns and brand platforms to social-first content, film and cultural moments.
Most importantly, you'll join a team that genuinely cares about creativity, collaboration and craft-and where you'll have the opportunity to produce some of the best work of your career.
