  • Summary of Responsibilities

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

  • Operate, preventively maintain and repair all pertinent hotel systems, devices, controls, instruments, equipment, etc.
  • Through logs and utilities data, determine optimal operating efficiencies and takes necessary corrective measures when variance from standards are excessive.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance, repair or retrofit of electrical, mechanical plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems.
  • Record and analyze operating logs and utilities. Take immediate measures as necessary.
  • Handle emergencies in repair works.
  • Carry out improvement, maintenance and repair work on all building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.
  • Perform daily startup, shutdown and inspection of building services and equipment according to the standards and requirements.
  • To supervise contractors in performing repair work and ensure quality of work.
  • Update daily maintenance log.
  • Complete the work order forms.

Qualifications

  • Preferred NTC 2 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 2 years of related experience in facilities engineering
  • Relevant experience in a service-oriented culture
  • Conversational and written English. Able to write simple report as required
  • PUB Electrican Licence or any approval licence awarded by relevant authority for Electrical Technician
  • Self-motivated and energetic. Able to work under high stress environment independently
  • Constant standing and walking throughout shift (physical competancy)
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to at least 20 kg (physical competancy)
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps (physical competancy)
