Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical activities across software, systems and platform engineering teams.
- Act as the primary technical interface between engineering functions and delivery management.
- Monitor project execution, technical risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
- Support the development and maintenance of project plans, technical roadmaps and delivery schedules.
- Provide technical leadership and first-line technical decision making.
- Manage technical interfaces with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical reviews, governance activities and milestone assessments.
- Support project reporting, forecasting and performance monitoring activities.
- Ensure engineering activities adhere to agreed processes, standards and governance requirements.
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects within Aerospace, Defence, MOD or Defence Digital environments.
- Strong background within software engineering, systems development or digital engineering environments.
- Experience working within Software Factory, software delivery or engineering delivery functions.
- Solid understanding of technical governance, project controls, risk management and issue resolution.
- Proven stakeholder management skills, working across customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Degree-qualified in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
