RC Fornax are seeking experienced Principal Systems Engineers to support the ongoing development and enhancement of a complex in‑service radar system. The role focuses on planning, executing, and analysing both rig-based and flight trials, and requires strong experience in handling large datasets and applying advanced analytical techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse large datasets generated from rig and flight trials using systematic and analytical methods.
- Evaluate radar system performance against requirements and produce Systems Problem Reports (SPRs) for further investigation.
- Apply signal processing, image processing, and object classification techniques to derive meaningful insights from real-world data.
- Investigate and diagnose system anomalies, ensuring system performance aligns with functional and technical specifications.
- Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to prototype and develop advanced defence solutions.
- Contribute to System Verification & Validation (V&V) activities throughout the system development lifecycle.
Required Skillset
