Location: Basildon

Contract: 10 Months

Day Rate: £300 - £325 (Inside ir35)

Candidates must be eligible to obtain SC Clearance.

The Opportunity

Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll play a key role in transitioning new products from design into production, improving manufacturing processes, resolving production issues, and driving continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation activities.
  • Develop, improve and validate manufacturing processes and methods.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, routings, production plans and work instructions.
  • Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 8D and FMEA.
  • Support Manufacturing Readiness Reviews and lifecycle management activities.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and external suppliers.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, Process Engineer or NPI Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
  • Experience supporting products through the product lifecycle and into production.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing documentation, process validation and quality controls.
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.

Desirable

  • Defence, Aerospace, Electronics or High-Reliability Manufacturing experience.
