Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, development, integration, and verification of electro-optical test equipment and test processes for precision guidance products.
  • Interpret product-level test requirements and contribute to the development of effective test strategies and solutions.
  • Assist with the design, commissioning, and ongoing support of development and production test systems.
  • Perform hands-on laboratory testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and measurement activities using specialist test instrumentation.

Requirements

  • HND, HNC, Degree, or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience within test engineering, verification, validation, integration, or development testing environments.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Electrical Testing, Electro-Optics, Environmental Testing, Acoustic Testing, or Instrumentation.
  • Good understanding of electronic test equipment, instrumentation, data acquisition, and data analysis techniques.
  • Experience within Defence, Aerospace, Military, Electronics, or highly regulated engineering environments is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to Lab VIEW, MATLAB, National Instruments, DAQ systems, ECAD tools, STTE, or similar test software would be advantageous.
  • Soldering experience and an understanding of mechanical design principles would be beneficial.
