Join to apply for the Business Analyst role at Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. We have an exciting opportunity for an Interim Business Analyst to join us! This is a full-time, one-year fixed term role with hybrid working, and a salary of £44,355 – £48,446 per annum.

Your Role Will Involve
- The council has embarked upon an exciting programme of cross-functional projects across all Directorates, that need to be completed at a fast but considered pace.
- To support this, we are recruiting a temporary Business Analyst to join our Corporate Projects team and support the team in delivering to a portfolio of exciting transformational projects.
- Investigating business critical issues and opportunities, undertaking research and analysis to develop solutions whilst considering people, the wider council, processes, information, data and technology.
- Proactively collaborating with managers and the wider corporate project team to identify transformational and business as usual projects, ensuring clear and identifiable links to council priorities and objectives.
- Supporting managers in the development of clear options appraisals, business cases and benefits realisation, in order to achieve approval and sign off.
- Handing over approved projects to project managers for implementation.
What We Are Looking For
- A motivated individual with a background in business analysis.
- A degree in a business-related subject or a Project Management qualification.
- A passion for change initiatives, research and the development of options and solutions.
- Strong analytical skills and able to demonstrate an evidence-based approach.
- Previous experience of working collaboratively and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present to a range of audiences, sometimes acting as a translator of technical information between parties.
- Previous local government or public sector experience is desirable.
