We are delighted to be exclusively supporting a long-standing client with the hire of a brand new QC Supervisor position to support the ongoing expansion and growth of one of their key facilities in the South-East of the UK. This position will be a hands-on QC Chemist, taking a lead on running a range of tests and managing the laboratory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing staff shift rotas
- Supporting technical issues
- Troubleshooting equipment
- Supporting the QC documentation process for the site
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QC chemist who has either managed a small team or has coached and mentored more junior members for some time, performing at a similar level. Given the expansion of the business, the scope for development is significant.
The ability to work shifts is necessary.
Key experience required:
- Experienced QC professional within a pharmaceutical GMP capacity
- Track record and experience in day-to-day running of a laboratory
- Managing rotas and workload management
- Troubleshooting and supporting a team with day-to-day issues
- Experience within HPLC and GC would be strongly preferred
- People management experience including recruiting and selecting teams
