Our client are seeking an experienced Enterprise Transformation SME to partner with senior leadership in shaping and implementing the organisation's future target operating model (TOM).

This is a high-impact role working directly with the COO and executive stakeholders to define, establish, and drive transformation capability across the business. We're looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and has successfully delivered operating model change within agile, growth-focused financial services environments.

The Opportunity

You'll be the person responsible for helping establish the frameworks, governance, and operating structures needed to support the next phase of the organisation's growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement enterprise Target Operating Models (TOMs)
  • Establish governance frameworks, operating structures, and transformation processes
  • Partner closely with the COO and business leadership team to prioritise strategic initiatives
  • Define roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and delivery structures
  • Create scalable frameworks to support future business growth
  • Drive organisation-wide transformation and change initiatives
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Introduce practical and sustainable ways of working that enhance operational effectiveness

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience:

  • Proven experience leading enterprise transformation programmes
  • Strong background designing and implementing Target Operating Models
  • Experience creating governance, PMO, transformation, or operating model functions from scratch
  • Track record of delivering change within smaller or mid-sized organisations (typically with 500 - 1000 employees)
  • Ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity and evolving priorities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working directly with senior executives
  • Demonstrated success driving business-wide change and operational improvement initiatives

Private Markets experience is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from wider asset management and investment backgrounds will be considered where they can demonstrate strong operating model and transformation expertise within smaller or mid-sized organisations.
