We are seeking an experienced Responsible Person (RP) to join a busy team and oversee Good Distribution Practice (GDP) compliance across three nearby pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in Cheshire. This is a critical leadership role ensuring the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Responsible Person for GDP across all three sites, ensuring full compliance with MHRA guidelines.
  • Oversee and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for distribution activities.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely resolution of any compliance issues.
  • Provide leadership and line management for one direct report, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with site teams to ensure robust processes for storage, handling, and transportation of medicinal products.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to maintain GDP standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Responsible Person within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of GDP regulations and MHRA requirements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple sites and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
