Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Quality Director to lead a busy Quality Assurance (QA) team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest standards of quality across operations, systems, suppliers, customer complaints, and audit programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the QA team, including 2 permanent Qualified Persons (QPs), 3 contract QPs, and a QA Manager (with 4 QA officers reporting into them).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Lead quality operations, systems management, supplier quality assurance, complaint handling, and audit processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be a Qualified Person (QP) with experience in non-sterile pharmaceutical products.
- Proven experience in managing quality assurance teams.
- Experience in generics is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Availability to maintain a strong weekly site presence (Ideally 4 or 5 days per week onsite).
