I'm currently supporting a global biopharmaceutical organisation in their search for an experienced Principal Scientist to join a highly collaborative quantitative sciences team. This role offers the opportunity to influence project strategy from early research through to clinical development, applying translational modelling and simulation approaches to support key drug development decisions. Key Responsibilities: Lead quantitative pharmacology and translational modelling strategies across a diverse project portfolio. Integrate preclinical and translational data to inform decision-making and support progression into clinical development. Develop mechanistic and PK/PD models to evaluate hypotheses, optimise study design, and support strategic development plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across areas such as translational medicine, safety sciences, bioanalysis, and clinical development. Provide scientific leadership on modelling and simulation activities both internally and through external partnerships. Contribute to regulatory documentation and strategic submissions where required. What We're Looking For: PhD in Systems Biology, Pharmacometrics, PK/PD, or a related discipline. Strong experience applying modelling and simulation approaches within drug discovery and development.
