About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead operations at a Woking pharmaceutical production site. This is a fully site-based role, ideal for a strategic leader with a strong engineering understanding and proven management experience in a GMP-regulated environment β whether pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
Direct line management of the Production Manager and Quality Control Manager .
Indirect leadership of a wider cross-functional team of around 30 site-based staff across production, quality, and engineering.
Drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and site performance.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align site goals with broader business objectives.
Ensure robust engineering practices are embedded across the site.
Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership experience in a GMP-regulated setting.
Background in pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare manufacturing .
Strong understanding of engineering principles and their application in a regulated production environment.
Proven ability to manage and develop teams, both directly and indirectly.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Comfortable working in a fully site-based role.
