I’m partnering with a specialist life sciences consultancy that is expanding its Quantitative Pharmacology team by hiring a Senior PK/PD Modeller with a strong background in pharmacometrics activities. This organisation works with a broad range of biopharma clients—from innovative start‑ups to global pharma leaders—supporting smarter and faster drug development through advanced modelling, simulation, and data science.
With strong project demand and new service lines being built, my client is now looking for a driven scientist to join their growing team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to work on diverse modelling projects with real scientific impact. You’ll contribute to client delivery from day one, with opportunities to progress into project leadership as the team grows.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver quantitative PK/PD modelling and simulation projects as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Analyse and interpret preclinical and clinical datasets
- Develop and apply models including NCA, PK/PD, Population PK (popPK), PBPK QSP
- Translate model outputs into clear insights and recommendations
- Prepare client‑ready reports, presentations, and project updates
- Support scoping of new consultancy projects with scientific and technical insight
- Stay up to date with industry trends, modelling advances, and regulatory expectations
Required Qualifications
- PhD involving mathematical or statistical modelling within biology or pharmacology
- 5+ years’ experience delivering PK/PD modelling and simulation (consultancy or biopharma)
- Experience collaborating within project teams
- Proficient user of NONMEM, Phoenix WinNonlin, Monolix, R, Matlab etc
