We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to deliver a range of infrastructure, IT service, and cloud‑led change initiatives within a dynamic private equity–backed organisation. This is a 6‑month contract, based in Central London, with three days per week on‑site.
About the Role
You will lead full lifecycle delivery of technology and service change, including:
- Hardware and infrastructure deployments
- Cloud migrations and optimisation
- Microsoft technology rollout programmes (M365, Azure, Windows, endpoint tech)
- IT service and help desk transformation
- Insourcing or outsourcing of IT services including transition planning
- Vendor/supplier change and service model redesign
- Business change aligned to IT transformation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver technical and service‑based projects, end‑to‑end
- Manage migrations, deployments and insourcing of IT solutions
- Drive improvements across IT service management, help desk workflows, and ITSM tooling
- Lead or support insourcing/outsourcing initiatives, including service transition, onboarding, offboarding, and operating model adjustments
- Build strong stakeholder relationships across technical teams, operational leads, and senior management
- Oversee RAID management, project governance, documentation, and reporting
- Operate effectively in a fast‑paced private equity environment with high delivery expectations
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven background as an IT Project Manager
- Strong experience delivering across the Microsoft technology stack (Azure, M365, Windows Server, endpoint and hardware deployments)
- Hands‑on experience with IT migrations, deployments, and infrastructure change
- Solid understanding of IT service operations, help desk systems, and ITSM practices (e.g., ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira Service Management)
- Strong experience or knowledge of IT insourcing or outsourcing models, including service transition
- Experience working within private equity or high‑growth mid‑market organisations (highly advantageous)
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills
- Ability to be on‑site in Central London 3 days per week
