A large global biotech based near Cambridge is looking for a Global Medical Affairs Head - Respiratory to lead key respiratory/pulmonary assets towards commercialization. The company is innovation-driven and is developing key prescription medicines for some of the world’s most serious diseases.

They are ideally looking for a board certified, renowned respiratory specialist who has a passionate desire to change the course of patients' lives in dealing with Asthma and a range of respiratory conditions. The company would be very interested in hearing from a physician with an outstanding background in academic clinical research in this area. This would be an excellent first step for someone looking to break into industry for the first time.

Key duties:
  • Lead the Global Medical, Respiratory Biologics team
  • Be responsible for the Respiratory Biologics Medical Strategy, including all Life-Cycle Management
  • Cross-functional leadership and collaboration across all global Medical functions (e.g. medical information, publications, MEOR, patient centricity, epidemiology) and the Global Product Team (commercial, R&D, regulatory, biostatistics etc)
  • Design and execute high impact Ph3b/4 clinical trials and Real World Evidence studies
Essential:
  • MD with strong clinical research experience in Airways Disease
  • Specialty training in pulmonology or respiratory
  • Strategic and medical leadership prowess
  • Expertise in delivering new initiatives, capabilities and leading large scale impactful medical initiatives in a complex environment
  • Strong working relationships with Global leaders in Respiratory medicine.
