Engineering Manager

With a number of exciting business wide initiatives from new product introductions and operational increases, through to expansions and new site launches, this leading pharmaceutical business is in a very exciting period of growth and transition.
This specific hire is for their site in South London / North Surrey and will take full accountability for a small team and be responsible for maintenance, servicing and take a strong involvement in engineering projects.
To take on this role you do not needto be an engineering veteran β itβs a two person team and therefore the key is that you can get stuck in and are willing to take on a number of the duties directly on a day to day basis.
Full training will be provided in the pharmaceutical equipment and processes.
The standard hours are 7am to 3pm Mon-Fri β but you need to be flexible as there will be call outs (including nights and weekends). Overtime/TOIL is available.

Key experience:
- Minimum of 2 years hands on experience in a hands on engineering / maintenance setting β must be within manufacturing.
- Pharmaceutical and/or GMP experience would be a nice to have but is not essential
- Supervisory experience ideal but not essential if you have the depth of technical experience and the capability to manage
- Must live (or be willing to live) within one hour of the facility due to call out requirements
- Mechanical and electrical engineering capability would be beneficial
