Pharmaceutical Manufacturing | GMP Environment | Permanent | Stoke-on-Trent

Are you a Quality Assurance professional with GMP experience looking to take the next step in your career? We're recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a growing quality team supporting the manufacture, testing, and release of pharmaceutical products within a highly regulated environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong QA background who enjoys maintaining compliance, driving quality improvements, and working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Quality Management System (QMS) and GMP compliance activities
  • Assist with deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality investigations
  • Review and maintain GMP documentation, SOPs, and quality records
  • Support validation and qualification activities
  • Participate in internal audits and support regulatory inspections
  • Work closely with Production, QC, and other departments to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the quality function

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance principles and Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and report-writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sterile manufacturing or injectable products
  • Validation and qualification activities
  • Internal auditing
  • QC or Production experience within pharmaceuticals
