Our client, a reputable organisation in the manufacturing sector, is searching for a talented and proactive Shift Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in West Cheshire. Working Hours:

  • Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
  • Monday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (weekday could be another day if preferred)

About the Role:

Our client’s engineering team plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of production, packing, and site facilities. As a Shift Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be tasked with maintaining high standards of efficiency and reliability by performing a variety of duties, including:

  • Conducting both preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing production and packaging equipment, including:
    • Pneumatics
    • Electrical systems
    • Mechanical components
    • PLCs and inverter-driven equipment

About You:

Our client is seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Advanced apprenticeship in Mechatronics, Maintenance Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Level 3 Multi-skilled qualifications in industrial electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Previous experience maintaining and repairing high-speed food or pharmaceutical process and packaging machinery. Other FMCG experience would be considered.
  • A proactive mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
