A growing and innovative life sciences technology business is looking for a Service & Support Engineer to support customers across laboratory automation and sample management environments. This is a customer-facing field role focused on installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ongoing technical support of laboratory instrumentation and automated systems. You’ll work closely with laboratory teams to ensure smooth operation, high customer satisfaction, and successful system adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service laboratory automation equipment at customer sites
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues both remotely and on-site
- Deliver customer training and technical guidance
- Support product demonstrations, upgrades, and preventative maintenance activities
- Collaborate with internal engineering and commercial teams to resolve complex issues
- Build strong long-term customer relationships across research and clinical environments
Requirements
- Experience servicing or supporting laboratory equipment, automation systems, or scientific instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills
- Background in life sciences, engineering, robotics, lab automation, or related fields
- Comfortable with regular travel
- Excellent communication and problem-solving ability
