With a groundbreaking product approaching commercialisation and production operations being expanded in South Wales, we are seeking a Lead Process Engineer to play a pivotal role in industrialising manufacturing and shaping the future of production. The Role
- Lead manufacturing process setup, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support production transfer, process validation and manufacturing scale-up activities
- Develop and implement manufacturing procedures, work instructions and best practices
- Improve process capability, repeatability and production efficiency
- Support new product introduction (NPI), sustaining engineering and product lifecycle activities
- Collaborate across engineering, operations and manufacturing functions to ensure successful production growth
- Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and drive practical, hands-on solutions
About You
We are interested in candidates from a variety of engineering backgrounds, including: Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Manufacturing Process Engineer, NPI Engineer, Product Engineer, Production Validation Engineer. You’ll ideally bring experience from a regulated manufacturing environment such as Medical Devices/Technology. You will thrive in this role if you:
- Enjoy hands-on manufacturing and production challenges
- Have experience supporting process validation, technology transfer or production scale-up projects
- Are comfortable operating within a growing, fast-paced business
- Can balance immediate manufacturing priorities with longer-term operational improvements
- Enjoy taking ownership and driving projects through to completion
Location & Flexibility
Home-based flexibility available. Significant on-site presence required during manufacturing setup activities in West Wales. Initial periods may involve intensive site-based support. Travel and accommodation expenses supported.
