We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget.
Duties

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.

Monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure financial control.

Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential cost implications.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost forecasting.

Prepare tender documents and analyse bids from contractors.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.

Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to the project.

Provide advice on procurement strategies and risk management related to costs.

Strong knowledge of cost control methodologies and practices.

Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with clients and team members.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
