Job Summary The Spray Shop Supervisor will oversee the operations of the spray shop, ensuring that the products are finished to the highest quality standards. The role involves supervising a team of sprayers and finishers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulatient to efficient and high-quality production. This position requires technical expertise, leadership skills. Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00 – 16:30 Friday 08:00 – 15:30 Saturday mornings will be expected Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Lead, train, and manage a team of spray shop operatives to achieve production goals. * Plan and schedule workloads to meet production deadlines. * Monitor team performance, providing feedback, support, and training as needed * Oversee all finishing processes, including priming, painting, staining * Ensure consistent quality control checks and adherence to finishing specifications * Monitor inventory levels of paints, coatings, and consumables, ensuring timely replenish me * Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials. * Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, and inventory usage. * Prepare reports on productivity, quality, and maintenance activities. Experience and Skills: * Proven experience in a spray shop or finishing environment, preferably in a woodworking industry. * Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques, tools, and materials. * Experience managing or supervising a team. * Excellent organisational and time-management skills. * Knowledge of health and safety regulations, particularly in a spray shop environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
